Pati Jinich Explores Panamericana is a three-part PBS series following chef and storyteller Pati Jinich along the Pan-American Highway from Alaska to Canada, uncovering the foods, cultures, and personal stories that connect communities across the Americas. Blending travel, history, and heartfelt conversation, the show explores themes of migration, identity, and belonging—spotlighting Indigenous traditions, immigrant experiences, and the shared humanity that transcends borders. Through meals cooked, people met, and landscapes explored, Pati invites viewers to see the Americas as one richly interconnected home.
Episode 2 – “Juneau & Whitehorse – Sister Cities”, Pati was hanging out in Crystal's home eating seal meat, herring eggs and more. She visits with Crystal Worl and her younger brother and super Athlete Kyle Worl. They laugh, eat, discuss art, Indigenous culture and Arctic sports.
