Raven is well known among the Indigenous people of Southeast Alaska and many other tribes across the Pacific Northwest. Raven can transform into a “Trickster” or a “hero,” from mischievous and playful at times, to a benefactor for humans and doing good for the world.
Dr. Rosita Worl shared this historical information on the pendants. "When EuroAmericans arrived in Southeast Alaska in the 1700s, they saw that every Tlingit and Haida Indian wore these Raven head amulets for protection. This practice is once again flourishing."
Today, as Native culture is celebrated, Trickster Company is pleased to offer Raven pendants to be worn to bring good luck similar to other contemporary charms today. Gunalchéesh!
