Khu.éex: "The 'Great Spirit' brought us together to share this music with you. Bernie's willingness to share and explore this music has been inspiring to us all. The word khu.éex means potlatch in the tlingit language. It is a sharing of the cultural knowledge through songs, dances, art, stories and spoken word. In the old days these were all one thing and everyday objects to totem poles spoke the history of our people. The tlingit language connects us in a continuum with our ancestors."
