Tináa, Tlingit for copper shield, are a symbol of wealth and status in Tlingit culture, used to trade with neighboring Indigenous peoples.

While traditionally made with copper, a naturally occurring metal along the Northwest Coast, these earrings with a modern twist are made of sterling silver.
